FOUNDER

Lacey is the founder of Solid Roots and has been farming and gardening professionally for over 10 years. Her passion for sharing the joys of growing extends to clients and team members alike. Whether designing stunning gardens, creating beautiful container arrangements, or styling interiors with plants, Lacey’s vision and dedication shine through.

Working with Lacey means being part of an environment filled with creativity, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her positive attitude, quick wit, and genuine enthusiasm make every project enjoyable. She embodies the spirit of a true Mainer—hardworking, resilient, and always ready with a touch of sarcasm.

Outside of her work, Lacey loves spending time outdoors with her three dogs, Vivie, Penny, and Vail, and spending time on or by the ocean. Penny is a staple on the team and is usually in Lacey’s truck wherever she goes. She is always looking for ways to make things better, whether in her home, her property, the shop, or her clients' gardens. Her hobbies mostly include home projects, crochet, gardening, and cooking or trying new recipes.
